- Before cleanup take note of sharp note of sharp corners or objects that could cut the
gloves. If gloves tear, remove, wash hands thoroughly and re-glove.
- Use cloth or paper towels along with cleaner, taking care not to splash the material.
- Sanitize the area using common bleach diluted 10:1 or a product listed under Approved
Cleaning Products below. Clean any tools that came in contact with a body fluid.
- Since viruses require moisture to remain active, dry the entire area using a heat gun or
hair dryer.
- When confident the area is clean and dry, place used cleaning materials in a red biohazard
bag.
- Remove gloves, turning them inside out, and put gloves in the biohazard plastic bag. Seal
and give the bag to appropriate personnel for proper disposal.
Approved Cleaning Products:
- Common household bleach - dilute 10:1
- Fullsan 128 Neutral Germicidal Detergent - dilute 1 oz to 1 gal Fuller Brush Company:

Preventive Maintenance Procedures
8.2.1 X-Ray Source
1. Access the X-Ray and Motor Controller software and adjust tube voltage and current to:
kV: 70
µA: 20
2. Click on the Turn X-Ray On button. A buzz will sound for approximately 8 seconds, X-Ray
indicator lights will be illuminated.
The X-Ray and Motor Controller software reports that the x-ray tube is turned on and
displays approximately 70 kVp and 20 µA under Power Status.
The CM LED will display 70 kVp ± 0.2kVP and 20
µA.
