Collimator Window Removal

INTRODUCTION

The collimator window is a thin Lexan shield located at the front of the x-ray source, behind the
bronze-coloured metal collimator. The window can be access through the sliding door, with the case
on.

This window, if present, should be discarded. It gets yellow and brittle, and may affect image
quality.
