Using 9/64” hex key, remove 3 hex screws and
flatwashers securing front source shielding. Set
shield aside.

3.

Similarly, remove 4 screws and flatwashers
securing source top shielding from source.
Support shield as last screw is being removed
to prevent it from dropping.

4.

Cut cable ties and remove cooling pipe. Set
pipe aside.

5.

Using 5/32” hex key, remove four hex screws,
lockwashers and flatwashers securing base
and source to adjusting plate.

6.

Disconnect main cable from rear of x-ray
source.

7.

Using 9/64” hex key, remove 2 front screws
securing x-ray source to adjusting plate.
Loosen back two screws.
