43. Threshold the image. Slide the

Window

slide bar to the left until it reads 0 and slide the

Level

slide bar until the ball appears with the maximum amount of square edges.

The

Window

and

Level

values control the image’s contrast and brightness. These values are

adjusted using either the slide bars at the bottom of the

MicroView

window, or by right-clicking

on either slide bar to display a pop-up window where you enter a specific value.
