Capture an Image:
12. Capture an image in Fluoro as follows:
- click Menu at the top of the Fluoro screen and
choose Capture from the drop-down menu
- once the Capture pop-up is displayed, enter 1
in the Number of Frames to Capture field
- enter 3 in the Number of Frames to Average
field
- name the file bright in the Name of Series field
- save the file to the directory: D:\calib
- click the Capture button.
The progress of capture is shown in the Fluoro’s
title bar as
[saving...] . Wait until the image is
captured.
13. Turn off the X-Ray Source and capture a dark
image in Fluoro. Call this image dark .
14. Move the stage 70mm toward the X-Ray Source,
so that is positioned in the centre between the
Source and the detector.
VERIFY STAGE TILT (FRONT-TO-BACK MOVEMENT)
15. Attach the X, Y Ball Centring tool with the bebes facing toward the detector.
16. Move the stage back 70mm toward the detector.
17. Turn the X-Ray Source back on and wait 2 minutes to let the Source stabilize.
18. Access Fluoro . and press m to display the mouse position window.
19. Rotate the tool until the top bebe appears in the centre of the x axis of the
screen.
20. Adjust the elevation using the X-Ray and Motor Controller program so
that the top bebe moves downward and appears within 200 pixels of the
bottom of the screen. Capture an image in
Fluoro and name it shim1.
21. Adjust the elevation, so that the top bebe moves upward and appears within 200 pixels of the
top of the screen (approximately 50mm).
22. Capture an image in Fluoro and name it shim2 .
