Limit Switches on Magnification Stage

Visually inspect each limit switch and verify that
nothing is blocking the sensor of the limit switch.

Access the

X-ray and Motor Controller

software and verify that sensor indicates it is
clear.

Select

Magnification

from the drop down menu

in the Motor field. Press the

Left (CW) Linear

Home

button to move the stage toward the

detector. Verify that the software is registering
the trigger - displays 'Left (CW) is ON' in the
Limit Switch Status.

Press the

Right (CCW) Linear Home

button to

move the stage toward the source. Verify that 'Right (CCW) is ON' is displayed in the Limit
Switch Status.
