Calculate Central Slice of X-Ray Source

This procedure calculates the Central Slice of the X-ray. With the X,Y Centring Ball tool still
mounted and the system warmed up:

Move the stage back toward the detector using the

X-Ray and Motor Controller

Elevate and rotate the tool until both bebes appear in the
centre of the screen in

Fluoro

Capture the image and name it

CS1

Move the tool 120mm toward the X-Ray Source and capture
an image. Name the image

CS2

Correct the CS1 image, unwarp it and load it into

MicroView

Determine the y coordinates of both bebes using the Region
Grow tool in

MicroView

, as follows:

Zoom in on the top bebe and find the centre of the bebe. Adjust the Window and Level to
make the bebe as round as possible. Record Window and Level in Worksheet.

MicroView

Tools>Region Grow.

Select

Lower

in the Threshold field.
