10. Change the centre of rotation back to the ideal found at the Central Slice and repeat the

reconstruction with all 360 views (de-select the Short Scan field). Name the file

1end_360

. Verify that the wires appear round.

11. Once successful, click the

Set to Central Slice

button on the

Reconstruction Utility

window.

12. Click the

Advanced

button and choose the

Reconstruction

tab.

13. Change the Centre of Rotation field back to the value of the ideal Centre of Rotation at the

Central Slice, then click

14. Click the

Recon

button on the

Reconstruction Utility

window.

15. View the image in

MicroView

and zoom in on the wire that appears least round to be

measured.

16. Select a region of interest within the phantom housing near the wire being measured. Press

to calculate the mean value of the plastic area selected. Record in Worksheet.
