Correct the Image:

access the

Calibration Tools

program (located in
C:\Program Files\GE Medical
Systems\eXplore
Utilities\Calibration)

click the

Correct

tab

in the VFF to correct field, find
the newly captured image (e.g.

capture

)

use the

Browse

buttons to find

the files called

bright

and

dark

click the

Correct

button (the

corrected file is named

corrected.vff

and it is stored in

the same folder in which the
captured imaged was stored)

Unwarp the Image:

36. Click the

Unwarp

tab in

Calibration Tools

and complete the fields as follows:

in the VFF to unwarp: field use the

Browse

button to find the file D:\calib\corrected.vff

in the Transform grid:
field, use the

Browse

button to find the
D:\Transform1 file.

37. Click the

Unwarp

button.

38. Call the file D:\zz when

prompted to name the file,
then click

The zz file will be used as a
temporary file for unwarping.
Continue to overwrite this file
whenever unwarping.

39. Double-click on

Windows Explorer

to load

the image into

MicroView
