The R&S Cable Rider ZPH loads the selected calibration kit model which is taken
in for consideration during the calibration.
For more information, see
Chapter 7.1.6.2, "Calibration Methods"
and
Chapter 7.1.6.3, "Calibration kit"
You can also define new calibration kit models with the R&S InstrumentView software
and then transfer them to the R&S Cable Rider ZPH. For more information on creating
the new calibration kit models, refer to the documentation of the R&S InstrumentView
software package.
4.2.10 Resetting the R&S Cable Rider ZPH
You can either preset the R&S Cable Rider ZPH or reset it to factory settings.
Presetting the R&S Cable Rider ZPH
The PRESET key resets the R&S Cable Rider ZPH to the default setup of the currently
active operating mode.
This default setup allows you to define the instrument with a new configuration based
on a defined measurement parameter without using parameters from a previous mea-
surement unintentionally still being active.
► Press the PRESET
key.
Resetting the R&S Cable Rider ZPH
A "Reset to Factory Settings" resets the R&S Cable Rider ZPH to the factory defaults.
During a reset, the R&S Cable Rider ZPH restores the original configuration. It also
deletes all customized datasets (limit lines, standards, channel tables, transducer
tables etc.). Instead, it will reinstall all the datasets that have been available after deliv-
ery.
Risk of data loss
All datasets you have saved are deleted during a factory reset.
Calibration data
After a factory reset, the R&S Cable Rider ZPH is loaded with the default factory cali-
bration data.
See
Chapter 7.1.6.1, "Calibration States"
1. In the "Instrument Setup" dialog box, select the "Reset to Factory Settings" item.
2. Confirm the entry with the rotary knob.
