"Config Overview" Block Corresponding Dialog Box Description
Select "Amplitude" to configure
the parameters related to the ver-
tical axis of the trace window.
See Chapter 7.2.3, "Configuring
the Vertical Axis" , on page 121.
Select "Analysis" to determine the
type of trace mode (Average,
Clear/Write) and the number of
measurement points used in the
measurement. If "Trace Mode" is
configured as "Average", the field
"Avg Count" is available for con-
figuration.

Select "Distance" to configure the
cable length and unit used to
determine the cable length.

4.2 Configuring the R&S Cable Rider ZPH
In the "Instrument Setup" dialog box, the R&S Cable Rider ZPH provides various gen-
eral settings that are independent of the operating mode of the R&S Cable Rider ZPH.
1. Press SETUP key.
2. Select the "Instrument Setup" softkey.
A corresponding dialog box to configure the instrument opens.
3. Select the item you want to modify.
