Controlling the GPS Receiver
This chapter describes all commands that control the GPS receiver.

This command queries the altitude of the current position of the R&S Cable Rider ZPH.
Example:
SYST:POS:ALT?
Return value would be, for example, 554.1.
Usage:

SYSTem:POSition:GPS:CONNected?
This command queries if the R&S Cable Rider ZPH is currently connected to the GPS
receiver.
Example:
SYST:POS:GPS:CONN?
Usage:

SYSTem:POSition:GPS:CORRection:FREQuency?
This command queries the frequency correction factor.
The R&S Cable Rider ZPH calculates this factor from a reference signal provided by
the GPS receiver. The reference signal is used to determine the deviation of the inter-
nal clock of the instrument. The deviation can be turned into a correction factor for the
measured frequency.
Example:
SYST:POS:GPS:CORR:FREQ?
Queries the frequency correction factor.
