using an ASCII editor. The script is then copied to the networking device and registered with EEM. When a
policy is registered with the Embedded Event Manager, the software examines the policy and registers it to
be run when the specified event occurs. Policies can be unregistered or suspended. Both types of policies can
be used to implement EEM in your network.
