Purpose

Enables privileged EXEC mode.
enable
Example:
Device> enable
Step 1

Enter your password if prompted.
Displays information about your device certificate, the
certification authority (CA) certificate, and any
registration authority (RA) certificates.
show crypto pki certificates
Example:
Device# show crypto pki certificates
Step 2
Enters global configuration mode.
configure terminal
Example:
Device# configure terminal
Step 3
Enters certificate chain configuration mode.
crypto pki certificate chain name
Example:
Device(config)# crypto pki certificate chain
myca
Step 4
Deletes the certificate.
no certificate certificate-serial-number
Example:
Device(config-cert-chain)# no certificate

Step 5
Exits certificate chain configuration mode and returns
to global configuration mode.
exit
Example:
Device(config-cert-chain)# exit
Step 6
Deletes a certificate manually.
no crypto pki import name certificate
Example:

Step 7
Exits global configuration mode and returns to privileged
EXEC mode.
exit
