Switch> enable
Configures the hello time of a VLAN. The hello time is the time interval
between configuration messages generated and sent by the root switch.
These messages mean that the switch is alive. spanning-tree vlan vlan-id hello-time
seconds
Example:
Switch(config)# spanning-tree vlan
20-24 hello-time 3
Step 2
• For vlan-id , you can specify a single VLAN identified by VLAN ID
number, a range of VLANs separated by a hyphen, or a series of
VLANs separated by a comma. The range is 1 to 4094.
• For seconds , the range is 1 to 10; the default is 2.
Returns to privileged EXEC mode.
