Comp-limiter

Comp-limiter is a combination of the Compressor and the Limiter Components.

Control Window

Element Description

Bypass: Disable the Comp-limiter's function.

Soft Knee: Enable/disable the “Soft Knee” mode. Read [

Compressor > Element

] chapter.

Limiting(Limiter): Indicate limiting.

Hard Clipping(Limiter): Enable/disable the “Hard clipping” mode.

Threshold(Limiter): Set the threshold level above which limiting begins.

Release Time(Limiter): Set the time it takes to release gain reduction.

Ratio(Compressor): Set compression ratio.

Threshold(Compressor): Set the threshold level above which compression begins.

Release Time(Compressor): Set the time it takes to release gain reduction.

Attack Time(Compressor): Set the time it takes to respond to the input signal.

Gain Reduction: Reflect the current amount of gain reduction.
