no way to know if the circuit outside has a short or not. Therefore, after the user repairs the circuit,
the user needs to reset the monitoring to close the relay to the output audio signal to the speaker
again, so that the IDA8C/S can monitor the short problem again.
Global Reset Monitoring: Click the button to rest the monitoring function on all the IDA8
processors.
In the case of zone short fault, the IDA8C slave/ SW will open the internal relay to stop the output
of the audio signal to speaker. After the relay is opened, the IDA8C-SW has no way to know if the
circuit outside has a short or not. Therefore, after the user repairs the circuit, the user needs to reset
the monitoring to close the relay to the output audio signal to the speaker again so that the IDA8C-SW
can monitor the short problem again.
Get all Measures: Click the button to get the current value of Measure A&B (usually for 1K Tone) on
the selected IDA8 processor.
Global Get All Measures: Click the button to get all the reference value of Measures A&B on all the
IDA8 processors.
Measurement:
After completed the function setting at the lower part of [Zone Settings] page, the IDA8C-SW will
start to measure the value which is received from the internal circuit, and then displays it on the
grid at the upper part of the window.
Functions on the upper side:
Reference A (ohm): Display the impedance value for reference received from Line A output.
Reference B (ohm): Display the impedance value for reference received from Line B output.
Reference A&B (ohm): Display the impedance value for reference received from Line A & B.
Connected Source: Display which amplifier is for the current zone (normal amplifier or backup
amplifier).
Measure (ohm): Display the impedance value of Line A & B.
Diff(%): Display the difference percentage of Measure(ohm) and Reference A&B(ohm)
Watt: Display the current watt value of connected speakers.
