selected IDA8 processor.
Global Reset All Reference: Click the button to reset all the reference of impedance value on
all the IDA8 processors.
Reset Monitoring: This will tell the IDA8C/S to reset the monitoring and to initialize the state of
the devices. In the case of zone short fault or leakage relay open, the IDA8C/S will open the
internal relay to stop the output of the audio signal to speaker. After the relay is opened, the
IDA8C/S has no way to know if the circuit outside has a short or not. Therefore, after the user
repairs the circuit, the user needs to reset the monitoring to close the relay to the output audio
signal to the speaker again, so that the IDA8C/S can monitor the short problem again.
Global Reset Monitoring: Click the button to rest the monitoring function on all the IDA8
processors.
Get all Measures: Click the button to get the current value of Measure A&B (usually for 1K
Tone)
on the selected IDA8 processor.
Global Get All Measures: Click the button to get all the reference value of Measures A&B on all
the IDA8 processors.
Measurement:
After parameter settings are set in the grid at the lower part, the IDA8C/S starts to measure the value
which is received from the internal circuit, and displays it on the grid at the upper part of the
window:
Leakage Impedance: The impedance between the Line A/B +/- signal and ground causes the
current leakage.
Reference A (ohm): Show the impedance value for reference received from Line A output.
Reference B (ohm): Show the impedance value for reference received from Line B output.
Reference A&B (ohm): Show the impedance value for reference received from Line A & B.
Current Amp: Show which amplifier is for the current zone (normal amplifier or backup amplifier).
Measure (ohm): Show the impedance value of Line A & B.
Diff(%): Show the difference percentage of Measure(ohm) and Reference A&B (ohm).
Watt: Display the current watt value of connected speakers.
