Tick the checkbox of various faults you want to be informed/warned.
Major: The general fault. When this type of fault has occurred, it will let the fault relay of IDA8 to
open. When the major fault occurs, the LED lighting(G. Fault) on the front panel of IDA8 will light
up and LCD panel will report.
RU Switch: When this type of fault has occurred, it will let IDA8 switch over from the primary IDA8
to secondary IDA8 under Redundancy configuration.
Minor: The minor fault. When this type of fault has occurred, it will not let the fault replay of IDA8 to
be opened. The LED lighting(G. Fault) on the front panel of IDA8 will still light up and the LCD
panel will also report if the minor fault has occurred.
No Fault: The fault will not be reported even if fault has occurred.

RS485 Protocol
Version:
1. When the PSS-AS or CD-TOUCH device is connected to PDC port, select [PSS-AS/CD-TOUCH]
from the drop-down Version box.
2. When the PPM, URC or DNM RS485 is connected to PDC port, select [Normal] from the drop-
down Version box.
3. When using dual ports on CDPM, select [CDPM Dual Port] from the drop-down Version box.
Remote Monitor:
Enable or disable the remote monitoring function. If the wiring connection between the remote and
IDA8 is broken, it will display a [Remote offline] fault.
