Clean or Replace the Collecting Electrode (FID on ECD)

8. Wait until the detectors temperature is near to 

ambient, then disconnect the signal and ignition 
polarization cables from the FID.

9. Loosen the fixing screw on the front of the FID 

cell and remove it.
