Start test step 13 in the same way as described on page 5-78 or by 
pressing the 

Service key

 

 

in test step 12.

NOTE

i

If you go to test step 13 from test step 12 by pressing the Service key, the 
security access confirmation will be skipped.

Enabling/disabling the welcome screen

1.

Select the code for enabling or disabling the welcome screen using the 

arrow keys

 of selection field 1.

00 = Welcome screen disabled

01 = Welcome screen enabled

2.

After the code is selected the 

Memory key 

 lights up. To save the 

changes, first press the 

Memory key

 

 (R key lights up) and then press 

the 

R key

 

.

The welcome screen is enabled or disabled.

NOTE

i

After the welcome screen is disabled all parameters of the service routine 
S017.14 are reset back to the factory setting.
