9.1 Items to be Prepared by User

For carrying out instrument diagnosis, you must prepare the
following items beforehand.

(1) Single-element mercury (Hg) hollow cathode lamp (part No.

207-2007)

(2) Single-element copper (Cu) hollow cathode lamp (part No.

208-2011)

(3) Copper (Cu) standard solution
(4) Graphite cuvette (Pyro Tube HR)

NOTES

: 1. Any hollow cathode lamp other than made by

Hitachi High-Technologies cannot be used for
instrument diagnosis. Use of other maker’s
hollow cathode lamp may result in failure to
achieve exact diagnosis or a shortening of lamp
life.

2. If a hollow cathode lamp whose service life has

already been expired is used, instrument
diagnosis may not be carried out correctly.
To avoid this, be sure to use a hollow cathode
lamp that has not yet reached the end of its
service life.

3. Use a new standard solution prepared at the time

of inspection.
