4.5 Analysis and Recalculation of Data
4 - 24
Click the [Sample Unit] button at the right of a data table or click
[Sample Unit] in the [Data] menu. A dialog box opens.
Type in a desired sample unit and click the [OK] button. Pay
attention to the unit when using the concentration correction
factor.
The number of digits below decimal point in standard sample,
unknown sample and absorbance values can be changed.
Click the [Decimal Place] button at the right of a data table or
click [Decimal Place] in the [Data] menu. A dialog box opens.
Input a desired numeral and click the [Recalculate] button.
The names of reagents used when reagents were added by the
autosampler with pretreatment capability can be edited. Open
[Edit] of the menu bar and select [Edit Reagent Name]. Then the
editing window will open. Click [OK] after the reagent name was
edited.
To reset the results of recalculation or change carried out in the
Data Process window, select the [Reset Data] command from
the [Data] menu.
Upon double-clicking in the profile graph area or clicking
[Profile] in the [Data] menu, the profile dialog box is displayed to
allow overlaying of profiles (a single profile also allowed), tracing,
and baseline specification. For tracing, left-click on the Profile
window to display the pop-up menu. See “3.11 Clearing the
Monitor Graph” for information on the usage.
The concentration component commonly contained in samples
due to pretreatment can be subtracted by sample blank
specification for recalculation.
A sample blank can be set as follows. Measure a sample blank
as one of the unknown samples in advance and specify the
relevant data for sample blank in the Data Process window.
Multiple sample blanks can be specified. Samples measured
after a blank-specified sample become the object of calculation.
Therefore, sample blanks need to be measured before unknown
samples subjected to calculation.
