(1) Starting from the Method window, make entries in the
[Measurement Mode] window, [Elements] window,
[Instrument Setup] window and [Analytical Condition]
window. For these entries, refer to Section 3.
(2) Click the [Standards Table] button to display the Standards
Table window (Fig. 5-7).

(3) In [Determination Mode], select [STD Add.], and in [Order],
select [Linear].
(4) In the [Working Curve] field, make entries for [No. of STDs],
[STD Replicate], [STD Decimal Place], [STD Unit] and STD
[Conc.].
In the standard addition method, concentration is calculated
by extrapolation of a linear working curve. Therefore, STD
concentration should be set within a range where working
curve is neither concave nor convex. In addition, STD1
concentration is required to be 0.
(5) Make entries for [UNK Decimal Place] and [UNK Unit].
[UNK Replicate] in the standard addition method is fixed to
1 (once). Entry of another value will be neglected.
