1.4 Power-on

(1) Turn ON the respective power switches of the PC and

peripheral devices such as printer that are connected to the
instrument.

(2) Turn ON the power switch (Fig. 1-2) on the front right of the

atomic absorption spectrophotometer. Then start up the PC.

NOTE

: When the spectrophotometer power is turned ON, the

spectrophotometer will be initialized (about 15
seconds). To enable communication with the PC, start
up the PC or the spectrophotometer software after the
initialization is completed.
