Check that the nozzle and the sample inlet (on the left-

hand side) of the cuvette are properly positioned. Click [OK]
in the dialog box (Fig. 3-33). Click [Cancel] if the cover of
the atomization reactor is left open or an incorrect cuvette
is placed.

NOTE

: If [OK] is clicked with an incorrect cuvette placed or

with the nozzle or the sample inlet improperly
positioned, the nozzle will come down and the nozzle
tip will be bent. Make sure to check that the cuvette is
the correct one and the nozzle and sample inlet are
properly positioned.
