Modifier
Drying
Usually, drying is carried out after injection of both
sample and modifier. When Modifier Drying is
specified, however, drying is carried out once after
injection of the first sample, and then the next sample is
injected. This is effective for a sample apt to disperse
in the furnace, but not required usually.
QC Cup No.
Specifies a cup position for QC measurement. Input is
omitted in this example of operation.
(4) Setting of Unknown Sample Cup No.
Click the [UNK Cup No.] tab (<3> in Fig. 3-24) at the top of
window to open the input window (Fig. 3-27). In the [Cup
No.] column, enter the number on each tray, which is
assigned to the target sample. By default, sample cup
numbers are all 1. Unless changed, a double-assignment
error message will be displayed. Double assignment with
a standard sample and other samples must also be
avoided (otherwise, an error message will be displayed).
Usually, employ the auto-numbering function, because
numbers can be entered serially.
For entering serial numbers, enter start and end numbers in
Auto-Numbering, and then click the [Set] button.
For using multiple trays, Start Tray No. can be specified.
When the number of set samples exceeds the capacity of
one tray, the next tray No. is automatically set.
