3.2 Verification of Measurement Condition

3.2 Verification of Measurement Condition

The set or updated contents in the Method window remain in the
editing status until you press the Verify button.    Only after
clicking the Verify button, does the relevant measurement
condition become valid.

(1)  Click the [Verify] button (<14> in Fig. 3-1).

(2)  A dialog box for saving of analytical conditions will appear.

Click [Yes] if you will save the conditions.
Refer to 2.3.5. “Saving Files.”
Saving of a file can also be executed by clicking [Save
Method File] or [Save as] under the [File] menu.    Note that
even if the save process is not conducted for the analytical
conditions, they will be saved along with the corresponding
results when saving the latter, and thus can be used for the
next measurement.
Refer to 5.12 “Measurements under the Same Conditions
(Copy Method).

Click [No] if you will not save the analytical conditions.

(3) If the window for adjusting the nozzle position in the

autosampler is displayed, perform step (4). Otherwise,
perform step (5). This window is displayed in the following
cases.



When the operation to verify the analysis conditions was

performed for the first time after the start of the
instrument



When the cuvette type was changed from one with one

sample inlet to one with two sample inlets
(For example, when the cuvette was changed from Pyro
Tube CHR to Pyro Tube DHR)



When the cuvette type was changed from one with two

sample inlets to one with one sample inlet
(For example, when the cuvette was changed from Pyro
Tube DHR to Pyro Tube CHR)

(4) A dialog box for the selected cuvette type will appear (Fig.

3-32). Below are the steps to perform when Pyro Tube HR
D was selected. Open the cover of the atomization reactor
and check that the cuvette is Pyro Tube D HR. Click OK.
