Reject Landing
Reject landing is a Go-around maneuver initiated after touchdown,
however, it cannot be safely initiated after the deployment of the thrust
reversers.
Go–around and missed approach procedures
ILS CAT II
Pilot Flying
Pilot Monitoring
Inform decision: “Go-Around”.
Push TOGA switch
Monitor A/P rotates to go–around attitude;
Monitor A/T sets go–around Thrust.
Push TOGA switch again to obtain full
Go-around N1 thrust (if necessary)
Verify / adjust Go-Around Thrust
Request: "Flaps 15".
Select flap lever to “15”.
Observe Flap Position indication and
inform when flap reaches selected
position.
When a positive rate of climb is indicated on the altimeter
Request: “Gear Up”
Inform: "positive rate".
Select gear lever to UP.
Inform gear position when UP.
400FT AFE
Set or monitor: “LNAV"
Select or monitor the Roll mode as
directed
Request: “Set radios for missed
Approach".
Select / tune NAV RADIOS as
directed.
Verify missed approach track is
available.
Above 1000FT AFE
Request: “FLAPS ___” according to
flap retraction schedule.
Set the FLAP lever as directed.
Monitor flaps and slats retraction.
Inform each new flap position.
After Flaps are UP
Request or select: LVL CHG or VNAV
Request: “AFTER TAKEOFF
CHECKLIST”
Do (read aloud) “After takeoff
checklist”
Inform “After takeoff checklist
completed”
