DANGER

Power Interface PI/100NOCB: Arcing on removing or connecting
live power supply cable lugs.

Arcing can cause burns to the hands and damage to the eyes.

Before removing or connecting the power supply cable lugs at the Power Interface
(PI/100NOCB), ensure that the power supply line is switched off at the upstream
circuit breaker in the BDFB (Battery Distribution and Fuse Bay) or PDP (Power
Distribution Panel).

Laser warning labels

WARNING

Laser hazard

Warning labels on the system and especially on the optical components warn of the
dangers of invisible laser radiation. Removed, concealed or illegible labels can lead to
incorrect action and thus cause serious injuries to the eyes of operating staff.

Ensure that the laser warning labels are not removed or concealed and always clearly
legible.

Electrostatic discharge (ESD)

CAUTION

ESD hazard

Electronic components can be destroyed by electrostatic discharge.

Circuit packs must therefore always be kept in antistatic covers. Use the original
antistatic packaging if possible. Always observe the ESD instructions (cf.

“Electrostatic

discharge” (p. 1-20)
