
Test setup
The following figure illustrates a possible test setup. The number and type of optical
interfaces depends on the customer configuration.
Procedure
Proceed as follows to perform the port transmission test:

Establish a test setup as shown above.
NOTE:
The analyzer should be connected to a port with the lowest optical port rate
(excluding the GE1SX/4, this might be 2.5G).

Cross-Connection
→
Create
to set up the first cross-connection.
Result:
The
Create New Cross Connection
window appears.

Select/Activate the
Signal Rate Auto Set
check box and define the cross-connection
rate in the
Rate
drop-down list box according to the analyzer signal used. The
