Path creation test

Purpose

This test provides a procedure for testing the automatic connection setup via ONNS.

Procedure

Proceed as follows to create a path between NE-A and NE-C via NE-B and NE-D:

Connect an SDH/SONET analyzer (= “Analyzer 1”) to an optical port of NE-A that
has been configured for ONNS (see section

“Optical port provisioning for SCN”

(p. 10-83)

).

Important!

Clarify that the optical input signal is in the correct optical power input

range (see section

Table 10-1, “Power input ranges of the optical circuit packs”

(p. 10-8)
