Side cover plates

Before you begin

The side cover plates can be mounted on each side of a stand-alone rack frame with or
without rack extension, but within a rack line-up only the two outer sides of the
cabinet can be covered.

Installation procedure

Proceed as follows to install the side cover plates:

Check that the cage nuts (DC1002834, item 3) are mounted in the designated gaps in
the rack frame or in the brackets of the rack extension.

Attach the side cover plates (item 1) to the rack frame or to the rack extension by
using screws (item 2). The following side cover plates should be used:

•

CC848780177 in the case of an ETSI-2 rack

•

CC848780185 in the case of a NEBS-2000 rack.

NOTE:

The mentioned comcodes always represent one pair of side cover plates (left

and right).
