Overview

This section provides a procedure for setting the NE date and time.

Required equipment

Prior to performing this task, the following equipment must be available:

1.

WaveStar

®

CIT PC

2. CAT5 crossover LAN cable with RJ-45/RJ-45 connectors (see chapter 4,

4-48, “CIT connection (LAN crossed)” (p. 4-74)

Prerequisites

Prior to performing this task, you must have done the following:

1. Logged in to

WaveStar

®

CIT as Super User (see chapter 5, section

“Starting the

CIT application” (p. 5-18)

WaveStar

®

CIT User Login has been

enabled during

WaveStar

®

CIT installation.

2. Logged in to the NE.

Setting of the NE date and time

Complete the following steps to set the NE date and time:

Hour

Minute

drop-down

list boxes and the

Although the 12-hour time format is used when setting the system’s date and time, the
display format (12-hour format or 24-hour format) depends on the date and time
configuration of the PC where the

WaveStar

®

CIT software is installed. For example,

3:44 p.m. in the 12-hour format is equivalent to 15:44 in the 24-hour format.
