Overview

Use this procedure to install the

WaveStar

®

CIT software on a new system.

NOTE:

Please note that this installation procedure is only valid for the current

WaveStar

®

CIT release. This procedure might change in future releases of

WaveStar

®

CIT even though there is no update of the NE software.

Required equipment

For a

WaveStar

®

CIT a personal computer is necessary that fulfills the following

minimum requirements:

Pentium

III processor with 800 MHz

256 MB RAM

2 GB of free hard-disk drive space

CD-ROM drive (16× recommended)

CompactFlash

™

card device

SVGA monitor set to 1024×768 resolution, 16 million colors

100BaseT LAN interface, installed and working

Reader

for

Windows

®

(version 3.01 or later)

Removable hard-disk drive (optional; required only for system backup).
