Fan unit test

Overview

This test verifies the correct working of the fan unit in the

LambdaUnite

®

MultiService

Switch (MSS) subrack. The test should be carried out for each installed NE.

Procedure

Proceed as follows to test the correct functionality of the fan unit:

Check the LED status indication on the back of the fan unit.

Result:

The “PWR ON” LED on the fan unit should be illuminated, the “FAULT”

LED should be off.
