Cable connection

Remove the protection cap by unscrewing the two screws at the bottom of the
protection cap.

Remove the strain relief by unscrewing the four screws.

3

Connect the pre-mounted rack cables of the rack frame to the studs of the PI/100 unit
with 16.5 Nm (12 ft. lbs.) torque.

Important!

For subrack installation in North America without the rack frame,

customer-provided input power cables must be assembled with

UL Listed copper

compression type terminals

and must be fastened via nuts and washers to the

PI/100 studs with

16.5 Nm (12 ft. lbs.) torque

Mount the strain relief. Secure the four screws with a torque of 1 Nm starting with the
two middle screws.

Important!

Spare screws are available from the other unused strain relief.
