Note:
T6 is also used to clock the timers in the CAPCOM units. For this purpose, there is a direct internal
connection between the T6 overflow/underflow line and the CAPCOM timers (signal T6OUF).

GPT2 Core Timer T6 Operating Modes
Timer T6 can operate in one of several modes.
Timer T6 in Timer Mode
Timer mode for the core timer T6 is selected by setting bitfield T6M in register T6CON to 000

. In this mode, T6
is clocked with the module’s input clock

divided by two programmable prescalers controlled by bitfields
