Oscillator Watchdog
The oscillator watchdog monitors the external incoming clock

OSC
. Only incoming frequencies that are too low
to enable a stable operation of the VCO circuit are detected.
As reference clock the internal oscillator (OSC_PLL) frequency

is used and therefore the internal oscillator
must be put into operation.
