Take care not to damage the oil seal lip with the shaft
spline.

Unscrew the six socket head bolts

and remove
flange

. Then remove the bearings

from the swash
plate.
Note:
It may be necessary to lightly tap the flange with a
plastic hammer to assist removal.

Remove bearing

on the front side, using the bearing
removal tool and the front shaft protection tool (see
Service Tools
, Section 1).
