Dismantling

Remove screwed cap

Remove ‘O’-ring

and discard.

Withdraw piston

Remove spring

Insert a small puller into the transverse hole and
withdraw sleeve

Remove ‘O’-ring

and discard.

Remove check valve

Note:
Ensure internal surfaces of the sleeve are protected.

Screw a rod (having one end threaded M5 x 0.8), into
sleeve

and withdraw.

Remove spring

Remove check valve

Cleaning, Inspection
1
Clean all parts with clean oil and dry with compressed
air. Inspect all parts.

Ensure piston

move smoothly.

Check springs

have no defects,
deformation or wear.

Remove slight defects by lapping.

Renew damaged or badly worn parts.
Assembly
Assembly is the reverse of the dismantling procedure.
