Remove the nuts and bolts from the rod end of the ram.

Push out the pin, using a bar and hammer.

WARNING
Metal Splinters
You can be injured by flying metal splinters when driving
metal pins in or out. Use a soft faced hammer or drift to
remove and fit metal pins. Always wear safety glasses.

Restrain the eye end of the ram piston rod to the ram
cylinder to prevent the piston rod from extending.

Remove the ram hoses, and install plugs or caps to
prevent contamination.
