Hydraulic Rams
Gently place the retainer on the stepped portion of the
wedge inside the chuck assembly.

Place so that the collar is uppermost as shown.

Keep the press bench clean to prevent dust,
chipped metal and other foreign material causing
damage to the bottom of the chuck assembly.
Press the upper part of the retainer gradually so that the
blade part of the chuck assembly digs into the bushing
surface part of the retainer.
Note:
Press load should be 2~3 tonnes.
If necessary use a retainer when pressing.
