Metal Splinters
You can be injured by flying metal splinters when driving
metal pins in or out. Use a soft faced hammer or drift to
remove and fit metal pins. Always wear safety glasses.

Lower the ram and place it on a stand.

Restrain the eye end of the piston rod to the ram
cylinder, to prevent movement of the rod.
