Foot Relief Valve
Dismantling

Remove relief valve sub-assembly

Note:
Pressure setting is critical - do not dismantle the valve
sub-assembly.

Remove ‘O’-ring

and discard.

Remove screwed plug

Remove ‘O’-ring

and discard.

Remove socket screws

.

Remove cover

.

Remove ‘O’-ring

and discard.

Withdraw bushing

, sleeve

, spring

, spool

outer sleeve

and spacer

Cleaning, Inspection
1
Clean all parts with clean oil and dry with compressed
air. Inspect all parts.

Ensure spool

moves smoothly.

Check spring has no defects, deformation or wear.
4
Remove slight defects by lapping.
5
Renew damaged or badly worn parts.
Assembly
Assembly is the reverse of the dismantling procedure.
