Purpose

Used to create a new syslog host.

Syntax

config syslog host [all/<index 1-4>] {severity
[informational/warning/all]/
facility[local0/local1/local2/local3/
local4/local5/local6/local7]/udp_port<int>/
ipaddress <ipaddr>/ state[enabled/disabled]

Description

The create syslog host command is used to
create a new syslog host.

Parameters

all

Specifies that the command will be applied

to all hosts.

<index 1-4>

Specifies that the command will

be applied to an index of hosts. There are four
available indexes, numbered 1 through 4.

severity

−

Severity level indicator.

These are described in the following:

Bold font indicates that the
corresponding severity level is currently
supported on the switch.
