Also you can use corresponding control buttons on the

monitors

switching to modes
. However, during that you can’t capture control
of a selected
monitor
. In this case other operators can switch to any
monitor
modes
on the
monitor
, you have switched on, and also capture control of this
monitor
.
In more detail controlling network matrix monitors is described in
4.5
section.
As already mentioned above, you can control
network matrix
, using
hotkeys
on
the keyboard of
master
computer. During that, at switching
slave
computers
monitor
modes
(activating video windows and selecting sources in them) there
will be no changes on
master
computer monitor/monitors screen.
When controlling network matrix, you should keep the following sequence of
operations:
1. Activate
monitor
for controlling.
2. Switch to needed
mode
of the monitor.
3. Activate
video window
of the mode.
4. Select needed
source
(camera) in active video window.
By activating
monitor
, you capture control of this
monitor
. That’s why if a computer
is a
slave
one for several
master
computers, then after finishing working with
monitor
don’t forget to set it free for controlling by operators of other
master
computers. To set
monitor
free you should press
C
TRL
+D
. If you don’t set
monitor
free, other operators won’t be able to activate this
monitor
, to switch to other
modes
on it and select desired cameras in
video windows
. Having set
monitor
free, you automatically set activated
mode
,
video windows
and
camera
free.
Master
computer can’t control two
monitors
simultaneously. If you activate a
monitor
at the time, when you already have captured control of other
monitor
, the
previous
monitor
will be automatically set free.
To control network matrix use the following hotkeys:
To do that, it is necessary:
a. go to the
Devices
page;
b. select desired
camera
in the device tree;
c. on the
General
tab of
camera
properties page select check-box near the
unique
device number
field and enter a number (cameras numeration must be unique
inside the network matrix);
d. click
OK
button;
e. pass through the steps a.-d. for the other cameras.
