SKYROS Corporation VideoNet 8.4 User guide
Select a preset
Start patrol
program
Option
Pan Tilt
controller
Action
Description
Select connected to camera Pan Tilt controller, which you
want to control on occurrence of a certain event.
Select action for the system to perform at reaction activation.
Select this option and select needed
preset
from the drop-
down list, if you want the system to perform positioning of
the camera, to which selected controller is connected, to the
specified
preset
at the reaction activation.
Select this option and select needed
patrol program
from
the drop-down list, if you want the system to start the selected
patrol program
at the reaction activation.
In
VideoNet
system there are 4 user
priorities
for Pan Tilt devices controlling:
highest, high, normal
and
low
(
priorities
setup for system users and basic concepts
are described in
3.6.2.1
section;
Pan Tilt
devices
controlling and control interception
are described in
4.2.13
section).
User with higher
priority
can intercept control from user with lower
priority
. By
default, the system has
normal
priority, therefore when starting
Pan Tilt device
controlling
reaction the system will try to intercept control of Pan Tilt device
(specified in this reaction properties). After control capturing the system will start
patrol program
or call
preset
,
depending on reaction properties setup.
It is important to understand, that the system will be able to intercept control of
Pan
Tilt device
to start patrol program or to call preset, if user with lower priority, i.e. with
low
priority,
is controlling it at the moment. If user with
high
or
highest
priority is
controlling Pan Tilt device, then the system won’t be able to intercept control and
the patrol program won’t be started.
If the system manages to intercept control of
Pan Tilt device
, then it starts
patrol
program
and calls
preset
, and after that releases this device from controlling.
Then any user will be able to intercept or resume control of this
Pan Tilt device
and
thereby interrupt started
patrol program
(or call another
preset
). After user stops
to control this
Pan Tilt device
,
patrol program
will be resumed in the event that in
properties of Pan Tilt controller
“Automatically restart interrupted patrol program”
check-box is selected (see
3.1.2.10
section), and if after device release from
control less time has elapsed, than it is specified in controller properties.
• Monitors modes and windows controlling
You can add this
reaction
type to system
task
, if you want the system to perform
automatic distribution
of necessary sources in a specified
mode
(it can be a
configured
spot-channel
or any of
monitor modes
) on occurrence of a certain
event. In reaction settings you can specify not only the
mode
, to which the system
will switch, but also to specify sources, which you want to translate, for every
window of the mode. For more information about
modes
configuring refer to
3.3
chapter.
You can configure reaction properties on
General
tab. Open reaction
Properties
dialogue box (see the
steps 1-3
of the algorithm of
3.7.2.8
section).
