3.5.2.3. Adding existing volumes
To add existing volume to system configuration:
1. Open
Volumes
tab
on the
Recording
panel.
2. Click button on the toolbar, placed next to
Create..
. Select
Add existing
volume...
item
in the drop-down list.

Add existing volume wizard
opens. Click
N
EXT
button to continue.
4.
General volume parameters
page opens. Enter
name
for the
volume
, you
are importing, under which it will be used in the system.
It is strongly recommended for the convenience of working to assign the
descriptive
names
to added
volumes
.
Attention!
If after having added a
volume
, you will decide to change its
name
and leave the
Volume name
edit box empty (because of careless),
the system will automatically assign to such
volume
standard name –
Volume 1
,
Volume 2
and etc. and will automatically replace the previous name
with the new one in all
recording functions
and other system settings
(where the
volume name
is used).
