Let’s configure VideoNet configuration parameters:
1.Configuring VideoNet system parameters for
“ VideoNet Client ”
computer
.
It is necessary to add range of outgoing ports , through which outgoing
connections will be established:
a.Go to
“VideoNet Client”
Network configuration page and open
Network-
>Outgoing connection ports .
b.Press Add button.
c.Specify
7395-37400
range in the opened dialog window.
d. Press Apply button.
2.Configuring VideoNet system parameters for
“VideoNet Server” computer.
It is necessary to add
incoming connections port
, through which the
incoming
connections
will be established:

.Go to
“VideoNet Server” Network
configuration page and open Network-
>Incoming connection ports .
b.Press Add button.
c.Specify

in the opened dialog window.
d.Press Apply button.
3.Adding “
VideoNet Server”
computer to “
VideoNet Client” computer
configuration

.Go to Computer->Add… main menu item on “
VideoNet Client”
computer .
b.Specify IP-address of
FireWall – 213.210.100.1
and number of incoming
connection port on
“VideoNet Server»

c. Press Apply button.
Let’s configure FireWall parameters:
Rule 1. (for data passing from
“VideoNet Client”
computer to
“VideoNet Server”
computer
)
4.It is necessary to specify on
FireWall
the range of
outgoing connections
ports
of
“VideoNet Client” computer
.
In our example these are
37395-37400
ports, i.e.
outgoing connection ports
we added to
“VideoNet Client”
computer VideoNet configuration on
step 1
.
5.It is necessary to specify
Destination Port
of
“VideoNet Server”
computer on
FireWall
.
In our example this is
37395
port, i.e.
incoming connections port
we added
to
“VideoNet Server”
computer VideoNet configuration on
step 2
.
Thus, according to conditions, set in the Rule 1 :
• If
incoming
data meet the specified security criteria Nr.5 and Nr.6 , then
FireWall
should translate these data to internal network to
“VideoNet Server”
computer
(IP-address:
192.168.0.1
).
